I am an applied mathematician. So far my application domains include cell biology, archeology, social science and celestial mechanics. My mathematical expertise mainly concerns dynamical systems (systems that evolve over time, which really is almost any system) and lately I am very drawn to data science and neural network problems.
For my research I mainly use Python but I also use the math heavy toolboxes from Matlab and Mathematica. I have worked on a couple of mechanical and material science problems in collaboration with industry, and I am always on the look out for new collaborations.
I post my data science projects on GitHub. My email address can be found at the bottom of this page.
I mainly formulate mathematical models for real-world problems. The majority of the models I work with are given by differential equations. But the recent data science models I implemented are statistical of nature.
Learning new languages has been a favorite past-time of mine. Besides languages, I am also interested in the economic models governing cryptocurrencies. The last couple of years I have been involved in the hive-blockchain.
I'd love to hear from you! I'm open to collaborations, especially those related to data science and mathematical modelling :o) Interesting work or research opportunity? Shoot. Want to take me out for coffee and show me your cat photos? Awesome.
Please feel free to write to me for anything: my email. It might take me a day to get back, but rest assured, you'll hear from me.
